A Belgian national, Jean-Baptiste Demotte prefers to go by his callsign 'Anacharsis'. A Colonel in the ERU Military Anacharsis is known for his military daring, acumen and skill and as a bronze medallist in the 250km Tandem Bicycle Race in the 2040 Johannesburg Olympics.

One-time commander of the elite gyropter unit, the Hunting-Shrikes, Anacharsis was an early volunteer to join UNITED, but was only recently seconded to the organisation.
