Gideon Mcqueen - James I

Gideon served as a ranger in the Australian army for several years, showing great skill in the infiltration of enemy territory and the use of unconventional tactics until a border clash with the Pan-Asian Cooperative left him with several medals and several career-ending injuries. He rose above this by joining the Advanced Research in Engineered Soldiers project, lead by his now wife, Grace McQueen. Although the program was shut down with the launch of the WCW and the subsequent backing down from WWIII, he and Grace hope to bring to the Ragnarok taskforce their expertise pushing the forefront of military engineering and the boundary between soldier and technology.

Eternity

After putting down the last of the rampaging TITAN suits with the newly formed Fury brigade, Gideon resigned his position in UNITED to put his expertise to use for the fledgling Extrapol organisation. Acting as head of Midgard's enforcement unit he ensured that dangerous criminals operating on Midgard and abroad would face the very best that earth had to offer.

However for the most part Gideon's fighting days were behind him, and he spent more time educating the warriors of other realms in how to become soldiers, how to utilise modern weapons and tactics and how to show decency and justice even in war.

He moved with Grace to his home in Hoddmimir's Holt where they raised their children amidst a quiet farming life, far from the horrors of the battlefield that still occasionally plagued his dreams. Imbued with the energies of the Midgardian apples from birth, their kids grew at the very pinnacle of human health. Surrounded by their mother's constructions and their father's fluffy golems they had plenty of sturdy playmates until they learned their own strength.

With allies across the worlds the McQueen's would often travel to share their expertise and in time Gideon and Grace were accompanied by their superhuman children, ensuring the ties of friendship forged in Ragnarok would bridge the generations to come.

”…more reports coming in now from Danforth that an attempt to attack the Dwarven Hall of the Dead was foiled by a group of holiday makers. Eyewitnesses report that Vilki Helsinger's infamous 'Catastrophe Engine' was somehow stopped in its tracks by a pair of human children, whilst their mother disarmed its matter destroying 'Annihilation Orb'. The renegade rune-engineer himself was captured attempting to flee by a man reportedly piloting a broken mining automaton…”

“Alright folks, we've got ourselves a bunch of jotun terrorists, a rampaging owlbear and a busload of elven schoolchildren. Captain McQueen's asked for the Brigade to pitch in and take out the bomb-golems, so suit up and let's kick some arse!”
